過去のバージョンと比べてサムネイルの「スクリーニング（指標計算）」が異常に遅くなりました
特に、アメリカ株が、実用（ex引け前のしかけ）に耐えられないほど遅くなってしまいました

事実関係は以下の通りです

・特にアメリカ株が遅い。CPUが25〜35％程度しか仕事をしていない
・日本株はアメリカ株よりは早いが昔よりは遅い。CPUが60％程度しか仕事をしていない
・以前、CPUは85〜90％位仕事をしていた（cf(Ver9.55β版)チャートに線を引いていると突然エラーメッセージが出て固まる→85.7％）
・対象銘柄数を増減（数十〜約900）させてみたが結果は同じ
・ver9.68でも結果は同じ
・PCを再起動しても変わらず
・設定…オプション-システム・入力モード-8コアCPU

PS)
指標計算中、ウインドウ「サムネイルの「スクリーニング（指標計算）」」のキャンセルが機能しません
また、ウインドウを移動することもできません

この現象に遭ったことがないので？？？
株価ファイル破損等の異常が生じていることはありませんか？

＞・キャンセルボタンも無効で

計算中の[キャンセル]ボタンは、なるべく早く反応するように改良しました。

なお、スクリーニング時間の短縮は非常に重要です。
全体を１つづつ見直し、無駄を省く作業を続行中です。
効果が出るか否かはわかりませんが、努力してみます。

良かったです。
しかし、スクリーニング関連は一切手を加えておりません。
以前のままです。

＞しかし、なぜか米国株だとダメです
＞米国株だとダメという現象、西さんのPCでは再現しませんか？

ダメとおっしゃる理由が不明ですが？
以下を「日足＋週足」でスクリーニングしてみました。

１．ＮＡＳＤＡＱの３５２銘柄を対象にスクリーニングしました
　所要時間：１〜２分
　ＣＰＵ使用率：２０〜５０％
２．ＪＰＸ４００の３９７銘柄を対象にスクリーニングしました
　所要時間：１〜２分
　ＣＰＵ使用率：６０〜８０％
３．香港株の４６０銘柄を対象にスクリーニングしました
　所要時間：１〜２分
　ＣＰＵ使用率：２０〜５０％

ほんの少しですが、日本株のスクリーニングが、米株・香港株に比較して少し早いようです。
気にするほどの差異はありませんが、敢えて原因を考えると
日本株は株価が整数、米株・香港株は端数ありの実数です。
この辺りの差が、特にマルチスレッド環境の計算時間に差異を生じているのかも知れません。

以前の[Ver9.50]と、最新の[Ver9.82]を比較してみました。
殆んど差異はないようです。
ただ、[Ver9.50]で、日足の過去株価の参照、移動の違和感を解消する目的で
株価読込数を増やしております。

念の為、次バージョンで最小限の読込をテスト実装してみます。
もしかすれば多少の改善が見込めるかも知れません。
次バージョン公開後、お試し下さい。

ご指摘のように米株のみのスクリーニングでは[キャンセル]ボタンの動作が鈍いようです。
より敏感に反応するよう改良します。
